Scary story
"Maddie?" Zaylor yelled. "Where are you?" Maddie was nowhere in sight. It was getting dark and Zaylor, Maddie's best friend was getting worried. Zaylor got out her cell-phone and tried calling Maddie. It kept ringing then finally a deep voice answered and said, "Hello?"
Zaylor terrified, said, "This is Zaylor! Is Maddie there?"
"I've been waiting for you to call, Zaylor . Your friend is safe. Would, you like to pick her up?" The deep voice said again.
"Ummm yes please. Lets meet at Waner park," Zaylor shivered and hung up. She took a big sigh of relief and started walking toward Waner park.
When she got there she saw an old lady sitting on the bench. She walked up to her and said,"Hello ma'am. Have you seen a red headed girl with freckles and braces?" Zaylor tried describing Maddie.
"I've been waiting for you!" the lady said.
"What do you mean?" Zaylor asked horrified.
"Come with me and I will lead you to your friend," The old lady squeaked. Zaylor did as she was told. The lady started walking toward a giant house. Zaylor was very scared. The lady walked up to the door and rang the doorbell. Maddie answered it. Zaylor ran up to her and hugged her, "Maddie I," Maddie's eyes were like lazers. Zaylor looked right into them and hers turned green too. "I shall follow you master!" Zaylor said, sounding like a robot. Maddie walked into a room with Zaylor following close behind. The room was filled with little boys and girls. Their eyes were laser green and they were talking like robots. Ding dong. Zaylor went to answer the door. It was a little boy. He saw her eyes. He was scared. He didn't look into them though. He saw Zaylor looking at the old lady's cane so he broke it. The old lady fell over and Zaylor's eyes turned normal brown.
"What just happened? Who are you? What am I doing here?" Her mind flooded with questions. The little boy didn't say anything. Zaylor just pushed him aside and walked down the path.
" Wait!" The little boy yelled, "What about Maddie?"
Oh, right!" Zaylor walked up to the door and got Maddie.
Chapter 2
"What happened?" Maddie asked. "All I remember is playing in the bushes then I just blanked out!"
"Well all I remember is trying to call you and someone said they had you and that you were safe. She told me to meet her at Waner park. So I went there and saw an old lady. We walked up to this house and you answered the door. I hugged you and looked into your eyes and blanked!" Zaylor explained.
"I'm crept out! Lets call the police," Maddie said terrified.
"Ok, fine!" Zaylor agreed.
Maddie got out her cell-phone and called 911.
"Hello?" Maddie asked.
"Hello!" A voice said on the other line.
"My name is Maddie Leverachy, and I don't know what happened, because my friend and I got hypnotized or something by this old lady!"
"Where are you?" The voice asked.
"I am at Waner park and hurry!" Maddie told him.
The police were there in a flash. The two girls lead them to the house. Maddie opened the door, but the lady wasn't there anymore.
"Hey where did she go?" Zaylor asked.
"I don't know!" Maddie snapped back.
"Is this a prank?" The officer asked.
"No!" Zaylor screamed.
"Maybe we should check upstairs." Maddie suggested.
The three went upstairs. The lady wasn't there.
"We'll do some detective work and let you know," The police office said. The girls left the house and went home.
Chapter 3
Ring, ring, ring.
"Hello?" Maddie asked sleepily.
"Hi!" Zaylor said on the other line. “ Meet me at Waner park!” she ordered.
“What? Why?” Maddie asked.
“Don't ask questions, just do it!"Maddie rode her bike and saw Zaylor sitting on the bench.
“We need to search that house!” Zaylor said.
“Why?” Maddie; asked clueless.
“Because the police found the lady dead and they think that we killed her!" Zaylor explained.
“ But we didn't do anything!” Maddie yelled.
“Ya, I know that but we don't have any proof!” Zaylor said. Maddie didn't say anything, so Zaylor led her into the house. There was a light on upstairs. The girls went up there. They went into the room where the light was on. They saw an old lady putting on earings.
“Hello ma'am!” Maddie said frightened.
“Hello,” she said in a squeaky voice.
“Will you excuse us for one minute please?” Zaylor asked. Zaylor and Maddie went into the hall.
“We have to call the police!” Zaylor warned.
“Okay.” Maddie agreed.
“You distract the lady and I will call the police!” Zaylor whispered.
Maddie walked into the room, but the lady wasn't there.
"Hey where did she go?" Maddie asked.
"I don't, wait! wasn't that window closed?" Zaylor asked.
"Ya it was!" Maddie said running toward it. She looked out and saw the old lady laying in the middle of the rode.
"Call the police!" Maddie ordered.
"No! They will just think that we did it!" Zaylor fought back. Whiiii whooo Whiii whooo.
"Oh no!" Maddie yelled.
"Ruuun!" Zaylor screamed.
The two girls ran downstairs, out the back door, and hopped the fence. They grab they're bikes and started heading toward a secret tree house.
They stayed there for a long time getting calls, and calls, and more calls, from the police. Then Maddie got a call from her mom .
"Hello!"
"Hi sweety. Where are you?"
"I'm in Galilee!"
"Oh, well I just got a call from the police!"
"What? Maddie knew she was in trouble.
"They said they found your dog!"
"Yay!" Maddie lost her dog a long time ago.
"I need you to come home now!" Her mother said.
"Okay!" Maddie yelled, " Hey Zaylor I have to go!"
"Why?" Zaylor asked.
"Because the police found my dog!" Maddie screamed.
"Don't go! It's a trap!" Zaylor whispered.
"Zaylor, that is so like you! You never want me to have any fun!" Maddie said leaving.
When Maddie got there she found it was a trap.
"Hello younge lady!" A police officer said as Maddie arrived.
"Hi! Where's my puppy?" Maddie asked.
"What puppy?" The police officer asked confused. At that point Maddie knew it was trap. She opened the door and ran outside. Chapter 4
Maddie rode her bike to Galilee, a secret tree house. Maddie found Zaylor and said, "Zaylor they're after me!"
"I'm not helping you!" Zaylor said snotty like.
"Zaylor, I thought you were my friend!" Maddie cried.
"Me too, but I found someone better!" Zaylor bragged. Maddie didn't say anything, she just left crying.
Taylor another friend of Maddie's found her sobbing.
"Maddie? Are you alright?" Taylor asked.
"No!" Maddie sobbed.
"What happened?"
"My so called best friend hates me, the police are after me, and I didn't get my dog!" Maddie cried. Taylor tried to comfort her. "we need to get Zaylor back!" Taylor yelled, "Uhm, who does she like?"
"Sam Clemens! She's crazy about him!" Maddie said trying to stop crying.
"How about we write a letter pretending to be Sam Clemens. We can say a bunch of lovey dovey stuff!" Taylor whispered.
"Ya!" Maddie yelled.
The next day the two girls wrote the letter and planted it in Zaylor's desk. The letter said,
Dearest Zaylor,
I love you so much! Meet me behind the school when school ends! don't worry about catching the bus, I want to walk you home! Love Sam Clemens.
The next day Zaylor got on the bus steaming mad. She looked at Maddie and looked away. Maddie tried to give her a serious face but it was so hard. Maddie looked at Taylor and they both nodded.
That day Maddie heard Zaylor crying in the bathroom. She felt so bad. She didn't know what to do.
Maddie walked up to Sam Clemens and asked him if he liked Zaylor. He said he did and she told him to talk to Zaylor at recess.
Chapter 5
At recess Sam went up to Zaylor.
"Hey Zaylor!" Sam said.
"Go away!" Zaylor yelled. So Sam left. Maddie went up to Zaylor and said, "Zaylor, it was me who sent you the note."
"What?!" Zaylor yelled.
"I'm sorry, but Sam Clemens actually likes you!" Maddie said. Zaylor didn't say anything. She just walked away.
Maddie sat alone crying by a wall.
"Are you alright?" Another friend of Maddie's asked.
"No Joe Joe!" Maddie cried.
"It's not your fault!" Jojo tried to comfort Maddie.
"Yes it is!" Maddie sobbed.
"No! It's Taylor's!" Jojo explained.
"What?!" Maddie asked, wiping her eyes.
"She tried to break your friendship up!" Jojo told Maddie.
"Well it worked!" Maddie cried.
"No! I'll go tell Zaylor what happened! OK?" Jojo said.
"OK!" Maddie tried to stop crying.
In about a week Zaylor and Maddie were best friends again.
The old lady turned out not to be an old lady at all. It was really Mr. Cornicholasoly, the magician.
Introduction
Kelly is an average 5th grade girl. Except for the fact that her dad just got out of prison, her mom takes drugs and her cousin is in Florida living on the streets.
Chapter 1
"Aren't you guys so glad to be getting out of this dump?" Kelly asked her friends.
"Duh!" her friends answered.
"My dad is getting out of..."
"Ahhh!" A scream interrupted her.
"What was that?" Kelly asked. Her and her friends ran into the gym where they heard the scream.It was the gym teacher. She was lying on the ground in front of the rock wall. There was blood everywhere!
"What happened?" Kelly asked. There were kids coming in from all doors. Kids were crowding around her.
Principle skinner came in and said, "Who did this?" Nobody said anything. there was another scream coming from the music room. Everybody shoved, pushed, and ran threw the halls to the music room. The music teacher, Mr. Kens, was lying over the drum set with a drum stick threw him and blood everywhere.
"Ahh!" another scream was heard in the art room.
Everybody ran across the hall to the art room. The art teacher was hanging over a painting with, again blood everywhere.
Tyler, one of Kelly's best friends, fainted.
"Tyler!" Someone yelled.
"Ahh!" Another scream was heard in the cafeteria. Everyone rushed threw the halls to the cafeteria. The lunch lady was getting blood all over the tator tots.
"What's next?" The principle asked.
"Ahh!"
"I had to ask!" The principle said.
Mrs. Neckerman had just died.
Wiiiiiiiiii Whoooooooo!
All the kids had to leave school. It was the last day so Kelly and her friends would never see it again. Chapter 2
"Who did this?" Kelly asked.
"I don't know! But we need to find out!" Katlin, one of Kelly's best friends said.
"Kelly?" A voice said. It was the principle. "There was this note for you in my office!"
Kelly read the note aloud,
Dear Kelly,
I killed all of these teachers! you are my next victim! I will be watching you always!
From, Killer!"
Kelly started to shake.
"Kelly? Are you alright?" Katlin asked. Kelly didn't say anything. Her eyes were big, her heart was thumping hard, and she was as white as a ghost.
"I, I, I am fiiinee," Kelly
was shaking. The words on the note kept running threw her head.
THUD!
She fainted.
"Kelly?" Natalie screamed. Chapter 3
When Maddie woke up she was in a hospital.
"Where am I?" She asked.
"Your at a hospital Kelly!" Her mom said in a comforting voice.
"Mom? All I remember is everyone dieing , and someone wrote a note. It said, I'm there next victim," Kelly said in a weak voice.
"Oh no! This this worse than I thought!" Her mother worried. "Doctor?!"
"Yes?" The doctor came rushing in. "What is it?" He asked.
"She is talking a bunch of nonsense!" She cried.
"Like what?" The doctor asked curiously.
"She just told me a lot of people died. And she was the killer's next victim." She cried.
"Umm, ma'am? Those things are true!" The doctor said.
THUD!
"Oh no!" The doctor moaned.
Kelly's mom was awake very soon.
"Mom?" Kelly asked. Her mom woke up. Kelly and her mom got out of the hospital. Kelly showed her mom the note. Kelly's mom's eyes got huge!
"Honey, we need to go home and stay home!" Her mother said frightened. Her mom started driving home.
"Mom, are you scared?" Kelly asked. Her mom didn't say anything.
When Kelly and her mom got to their house they ran inside and locked all of the doors and windows. They snuggled together on the couch and watched some t.v. Chapter 4
Ring, ring, ring. Kelly's mom went to answer the phone. After about 30 seconds she hung up and said, "Honey we need to go pick up your father!"
"Do we have to? Can't he call a cab?" Kelly moaned.
"Well I suppose so," Her mother said.
Kelly went back to the couch to watch some more t.v.
